Design & Quotation
Any project that alters the footprint of your building, such as an extension, requires a fully approved Architect project. For any projects that do not alter the basic footprint of your building and are considered refurbishment projects, processes are significantly simplified in comparison to a new build or property extension. Such projects generally require lesser levels of technical services and therefore follow a much simpler bureaucratic framework.
Following consultation and a site visit, we will present our proposal to you this may take the form of detailed floor plans, sketches and 3D visualisation if appropriate. Upon agreement of the scope of work and specification we will provide a detailed quotation.
Licenses
Once you are happy that everything has been covered and decide to proceed we will procure the building license necessary to authorise the project.
The type of license will depend on the work required and can take as little as 2-4 weeks to process, depending on which is your local authority.
