Villa Exterior Refurbishment

Villa Bahia, a 600m2 villa situated in Marbella, was in need of a complete exterior refurbishment. The deterioration of coatings and exterior finishes was due to excessive winter rainfall and general neglect.

The facades needed considerable preparatory work to bring them back to as new condition. All the wood was sanded, treated and re-stained. Ironwork was stripped and repainted. In addition a collapsed patio was rebuilt incorporating waterproofing membranes, necessary to combat water ingress and avoid a repetition of the problem. Many products lose their effectiveness over time, while others become sensitive to sun and pollution. We used breathable micro porous latex based materials for maximum impermeability and longevity. The client left the decision on paint colours to us and was delighted with the finished result of his ‘new’ villa.
