A tight schedule of four months to enable summer use by the owner was completed on time. This neglected property required total modernisation and internal redistribution of the layout to suit the new owner’s family and lifestyle requirements. The obvious starting point was to open up the house to the unbelievable 180° views.
Originally consisting of three bedrooms and an apartment, we converted the independent apartment into a fourth bedroom and bathroom and created a new inner hallway for accessibility. A new guest cloakroom and ensuite bathroom to one of the bedrooms was also created. The separate kitchen and dining room have been knocked through into one open plan space with four meter glazed doors opening to the garden and pool.
The villa was totally rewired, re-plastered and re-plumbed. New marble floors, wall tiles, doors, kitchen, utility and bathrooms were fitted. The modern kitchen takes centre stage of the finished interiors overlooking the refurbished pool and new water feature, not to mention those views.
